Mechanical Processing of Waste

Higher Purities for Higher Market Values
Separating waste into pure recyclable fractions turns it into reusable raw materials. The purity is decisive for the market value. With solutions tailored precisely to your material as well as modern technologies, we offer you highly economical facility concepts.
Our Expertise
Mechanical recycling covers a broad range of applications—we have the most experience with the following solutions:
Municipal Solid Waste
Municipal solid waste (MSW) contains a wide range of potentially valuable materials that can be sorted for resale. Treatment is also useful to reduce the volume in the event of subsequent landfilling. If thermal treatment is planned, biological drying can reduce the required energy input. Alternatively, processing to refuse derived fuel (RDF) is also possible.
Lightweight Packaging and Plastics
Properly processed, certain types of plastic can be reused or chemically recycled. They can also be turned into substitute fuels of highest quality.
Incinerator Bottom Ash
The ash after thermal treatment can also be recycled. It still contains valuable metals, which you can sort out and sell on. Depending on its composition, the incinerator bottom ash may also be processed into a substitute building material or even fully-fledged raw materials.
Waste Wood
Waste wood is excellent for beeing used again in playwood or to be burned for energy creation. In both cases most waste wood contains a significant amount of valuable metals, that can be separated rather easily with the proper recycling technology.
Paper and Cardboard
Paper and cardboard can be recycled extremely well. With the right system, you can produce high-quality deinked goods and cardboard fractions. The production of new paperware can afterwards be done with a minimum amount of fresh raw material.
